Yet Another Gadget

January 26th, 2007 @ 6:33 pm by Mrs. Lily

I need to make little “thank you” tags to go along with my favors. To do this, I just bought the Uchida Clever Lever Mega Punch in a scalloped oval shape.

I got mine at 1StopSquare, although lots of places sell them. Now I just have to find some good paper to go along with my adorable paper punch. Any ideas for places to look in New York?

18th st between 5th and 6th ave for paper presentation and icon printing. but since you’re making favor tags, you prolly only need a couple sheets of 12×12 paper so look online atscrapbook paper resources like papersource, paper.com, even ebay! :)

yes, I agree with mrs. bee - i love paper presentation! There are also many other paper stores around that area.

Great store to visit is Lee’s Art Shop on 57th between 7th Ave. and Broadway. Also, one bloack east of Lee’s is Kate’s Paperie. They both have a large selection of paper. Kate’s has other stores around the city as well but this location seems to have a larger selection than others.

I bought a similar tag punch too, and wanted to use really thick paper to make little tags for our favors. But for some reason, the stinkin thing will NOT punch thru the paper!! Grrr, I was bummed… will have to go with regular cardstock. Boo!
