A Candle Idea And A Question

I was perusing the knot bios of the week and saw a cute idea in honeykey’s bio.

She paired floating candles in tall cylinder vases with her candy buffet. It looks adorable. Anyone know where to get these cheaply? My budget is going going going… almost gone, so I really shouldn’t be adding things!

Those look a lot like the cobalt blue ones I got at Dollar Tree! They ahd them there in pink and clear, too. The diameter is just larger than a tealight, and they’re ~7″ tall. They were $1 apiece, too.

The clear cylindrical vases can be found at the dollar store as well. I’m trying to find out if they’re heat resistent since they’re in the vase section– if you find out, please tell!

There’s someone on eBay selling cylinder vases for wholesale prices–very cheap. I’m at work and eBay is blocked here so I cant check it for you. The shop is something like HK or HL imports. (Possibly HK for “Hong Kong.”) If you search for glass cube vases you’ll find them, they have every centerpiece shape you might want. http://www.save-on-crafts.com has pretty cheap vases too.

I think the eBay shop is HJK IMPORTS. They’re a wholesaler in the SF Bay Area. We’re planning on buying our vases from their warehouse because their prices are unbelievable!

Oh, I should add that you need a reseller’s permit to buy wholesale from their warehouse. If you don’t have one, they’ll charge you a little more. I haven’t compared the actual wholesale prices to their prices on eBay, but at a glance they look pretty comparable sans shipping.
