Wow. We’re 3 months and 27 days away! Now is when I really need to hunker down and finish my DIY.

Luckily, that’s what spring break is for. That glorious first week of March, when Mr. Blueberry and I can go down to Kansas City for nine days of DIY. I’m sure he’ll love it. Who really wants to go on vacation, when you can just sit in your fiancee’s parents’ basement and stamp hundreds of pieces of stationery?

I also made a decision about the centerpiece arrangments. From the poll results, it looks like the top two contenders are D and A.

D:

Pros:
~I won’t have to buy anything else, and can in fact return the blue vases I already bought.
~The blue squished-marble thingies I’ll put in the bottom will be a subtle touch in the bottom of the middle vase.

Cons:
~It might be a bit monochromatic
~It’ll require me to make a *lot* more paper flowers to fill the top of that vase

A:

Pros:
~I won’t have to buy anything else

Cons:
~It will require the same amount of flowers as D, so I’ll still have to make more anyway.
~I worry that the line isn’t as visually appealing…perhaps like the height of the blue vases detracts from the flowers within the clear vase?

So assuming that it’s OK with my venue (I just sent an email and asked!) I think I’ll go with arrangement D. Thanks so much everyone for your feedback! I really appreciate it

Oh, and special thanks to everyone who commented about the paper flowers right over the flame. I tested it out by letting arrangement D burn the tealights for their duration, and since the tealights’ flames are so small, the bottoms of the flowers don’t even get warm, much less singed.
