Okay, I’m not sure if this has been done before. I know we have a bunch of knot bios from readers, but I want to know more about the people reading about our lives and weddings. I mean, us Bees pour our hearts out on the world wide web everyday. So, now I want to know more about YOU! Here’s your chance to post and let us get to know you. Post even if you’re a lurker! 2. How’d you find out about Weddingbee and how often do you check the site? I forget how I found it, but I check multiple times every day, even though I’m not engaged

7. What would your first official post be about if you were a blogger? How excited I am to be a Bee, and getting married.
I love love love weddingbee!!!! I’m getting so many ideas before I’m even engaged! The Bees make me laugh, and have given me so many great ideas. I love to think about what I would do if money were no object. I have so many ideas!
Thank you for putting all of this info out there. It’s nice to see information from real people with real budgets!
Oh, and please don’t think I’m crazy for checking you guys daily even though I’m not actually planning a wedding.

Don’t remember how I heard of it - it was sometime last summer. My weddingbee obsession ranges from several obsessive times a day to once every other day. LOL.

4. Where are you getting married/Where did you get married?
Dallas, Texas - but we’re living up in Virginia for my fiance’s grad school
5. What city/state are you representing?
I would have to say Dallas - we’re only in Virginia for 2.5 more years
6. How long have you and your fiance/husband been together? 15 months
7. What would your first official post be about if you were a blogger?
Hmmm…probably about how we sent out invitations last week and someone has bought our first gift on our registry!

I think I’d want to be different and be “Miss Snowflake”, since that’s a big part of my wedding theme!

I found the link to Weddingbee through xanga, where I keep a blog… I would say that I check it about 2-3 times a day when I’m near a computer.

January, 2008
4. Where are you getting married/Where did you get married?
We are getting married in our church. And our reception will be at a local college campus, where there’s hardwood floors and a HUGE fireplace. I am so excited!

Michigan, baby!
6. How long have you and your fiance/husband been together?
Over 2 and a half years, but we’ve known each other for over six years.
7. What would your first official post be about if you were a blogger
It would be an introduction, I’d tell you all about me and my sweetie, and our basic wedding ideas so far…
1. I think I would pick a butterfly because I really feel that I will feel so different after the wedding. This whole process has really forced me to think more long term ie like a grown-up. Making such a huge commitment to someone else and realizing that I can no longer make most of my life decisions by myself has been such an incredible process and has really caused me to evaluate my long term goals, and what I want to see in my future.
2. I found it through a link, I really wish I could remember from where, sorry. I check it several times a day, I find it so encouraging especially with the new posters from such varied places and budgets.
3. my wedding will be July 21st.
4.I’m getting married back home in Kentucky, although I live in San Francisco now.

7.My first post would probably be about how to best personalize your wedding to really represent the two of you and not trying to make your wedding look like a magazine spread. The most inspiring weddings I see are ones that really give you a feel for the couple, not the wedding coordinator/latest trend. The one that comes to mind is in Martha Stewart where the couple met in elementary school so they had a school theme through out from the custom invitations, to the chalk board photography background and lunch tray food service. Weddings like that really inspire me.

2. How’d you find out about Weddingbee and how often do you check the site?
I saw an ad for it on Xanga way back in 2006…like around March or something. I check it pretty much every day and a lot of times throughout the day.
3. When’s your wedding/When was your wedding?
We are getting married on June 8, 2007! Only four more months! I’m so excited.
4. Where are you getting married/Where did you get married?
Bardstown, Kentucky
5. What city/state are you representing?
Bardstown and Morehead, Kentucky (Morehead is our college town)
6. How long have you and your fiance/husband been together?
It will be two years on Feb. 8th
7. What would your first official post be about if you were a blogger?
I would post about how excited I am to be a weddingbee blogger. Then I might go into my DIY projects, such as my guest book, ring bearer pillows, and other wedding related things. I’d also talk about my FI and I, our history, and the fun way we got together.

My first blog would definitely be about the art of compromise. Your first task when getting engaged is to figure out your priorities. Easy enough, right? Until you realize that your wedding priorities are not the same as your fiance’s priorities. Finding the balance so that everyone is happy is definitely an artform.

I stumbled upon it one day when I was searching the web for something else wedding related. I now check the site every day (sometimes twice). I love this site!!

We have known each other for 3 1/2 years, and been engaged since last July. He proposed on my birthday while we were on vacation in Cozumel.

2. How’d you find out about Weddingbee and how often do you check the site? I think I found WeddingBee in a side search on Google, while searching for wedding stuff, of courses. I will admit I am slightly addicted to the site and couldn’t even tell you how many times a day I check it.
