They’re gorgeous Miss Plum! I love them. How did you get the orchids to stay on the branches? Wire? Glue? Tape? (can you tell I’m confused? :-P)

lori - I got them from my local floral wholesaler, but you can get them at basically any craft store that sells dried/fake flowers. They’re called curly willow branches.

oojoy- I wired the stems to the branches :) But you can also glue them if you want.

Blooms Dallas - can anyone just go and buy flowers!? I want to get cherry blossoms and calla lilies for my wedding, but don’t wanna get raped on the prices. I spoke with a girl in CA who had real ones at her wedding and she said she got them from a wholesaler up there. Please help your fellow Dallas bride struggling with flowers!

those are gorgeous! wow, what a creative touch. may i ask what is holding the curly willow in place? it doesn’t look like the branches/flowers go down into the vase very far?

Leesuh - I would recommend you check out the farmers market downtown - they sell direct from the grower to customers :)

Hi,
I’m making similar arrangements for a friend of mine and I was wondering how you were able to hide the stems…did you use a container in the tall vase to hold the curly willow and the rest of the flowers in place? if so where could I find square containers? thanks so much.
