Getting Things In The Mail

January 31st, 2007 @ 5:19 pm by Mrs. Emerald

I’ve been ordering a lot of wedding-related things online, so I always get excited when I hear the mailroom carts swing by my area. I’ve been disappointed for the past few days, but today I scored two packages! YAY! So I thought I’d share my goodies.

#1 - My Eiffel Tower chocolate molds that I ordered off Amazon about 2.5 weeks ago. I seriously thought they got lost in the mail. Each mold is 4.5 inches long, longer than I thought, so I wonder how much chocolate I will have to buy to fill 200 of these babies.

# 2 - My “Art of Kissing” books. After first seeing these in Richsbitch’s knot bio (one of my faves), I have been looking high and low for these suckers to put on my cocktail tables just for fun. I finally found them here for less than $2 each, so I got 8 and they arrived today! (Now I wish I had ordered a few extra, but I don’t want to pay for them to ship another batch.)

It’s a kitchy book that was printed in the 1930s about how to kiss and date. I thought it would be a fun conversation starter. I haven’t read it yet, but I’m sure its chock full of great tips, haha! laughin06 Shipping took less than a week, so thats always good in my book.

What did people do before the Internet? This whole wedding planning process must have been a lot more difficult… can you imagine?
