I just got my tiara. I love it. The second it came I wanted to wear it, but not having a comb attached I have to figure out another way to keep it on.
When I finally get my veil I can see how they look together, but until then, it’s tiara time!
As I was telling Miss Bluebell about my tiara and plans to wear it around the house, I wondered, can I show Mr. Kiwi? He’s a bit of a traditionalist, in not wanting to see my dress (I have a dress!), but he’s also really into the supportive “tell her your opinion” thing.
Since it was our money I was spending on tiaras and veils, I figured I’d ask him if he thought I should get it. He vaguely said “sure.” I showed it to him online. He glanced at it and liked it, and told me that I should get it. His exact words? “Oh what the hell, get it!”
And so a tiara was purchased. As I’m now in excited “Look what I got!” mode, I want to try it on at home - parade it for Mr. Kiwi. Then, the little Miss Kiwi dressed in bridal gear sitting on my shoulder told me to keep it to myself, let it be a surprise. The little leather-wearing Kiwi on my other shoulder said, “No, just show him!”
So, what would you do? Listen to bridal Kiwi, dressed in her silk finery, or biker Kiwi - head to toe in black leather?
Should the whole bridal ensemble be a surprise, or since he’s seen it online already, it’s no big deal? What would you do?
