About Mrs. Lily

Your Autograph, Please

February 1st, 2007 @ 3:00 pm by Mrs. Lily

I thought I knew exactly which guestbook I wanted to use — Kolo’s Newbury in Platinum with grosgrain ribbon. Apparently I didn’t inspect it too well when loving it at the store because the inner pages are black! Duh! That’s not going to work out too well.

Your Autograph, Please : wedding guestbook new york Z73687101 kolo newberry

Any ideas of other companies to look at for a simple, cloth covered, grey, with a picture window album (um, not too many specifications, right?).

Use metallic gel pens!!! Then people can write on the black pages and you get the exact guestbook you want! :-)

I am pretty sure that you can buy refills for the Kolo albums and some books do come with white or ivory paper.

I think black pages with a silver marker look great. However, if you want off white pages, most Kolo albums have off-white pages, so you can exchange the grey album for a different color and have off-white pages, or just buy replacement pages for the grey album if it fits with your color scheme.

I have the same album in ivory which comes with white sheets.

I just looked on kolo.com and they have refill pages for albums. Its just held in with the ribbon so you should be able to switch it out easy.

If you can’t refills if you are in a hurry, I would just go and find some sheets of archival paper and punch holes in it.

I have the same album, but in ivory. I think the girls covered it: get metallic pens, get refill papers of a different color or buy another one. I got mine from http://www.paper-source.com, were they have about 15 different colors!

My photographer made our guestbook using Mypublisher. Engagement pictures on one page, and blank lines on the next… I think it should be fairly easy to make… plus they have lotsa different colors

Or- you can have guests sign cards of pre-cut paper in the color(s) you want and then mount them in that book- it could make for a pretty contrast. Have fun with it………
