Contest: Notecards From Minnie & Emma

February 6th, 2007 @ 4:14 pm by Contests

Newly launched custom stationery company Minnie & Emma offers charming note cards, save the dates, invitations and more. What I really love is that they offer 4 coordinating envelope liner options for each piece. I’m partial to the bumblebee note cards , but love the school days and preppy monogram design below too.

A set of these notecards would be a wonderful gift for the bride… and of course Minnie & Emma are offering one weddingbee reader a set of 20 cards of their choice!

Invitations are supposed to set the tone for your wedding. So tell us - what tone or mood are you hoping to convey with your wedding stationery?

You have until 5:00 pm tomorrow to enter. Good luck!

I hope our invitations convey a timeless elegance sort of mood…if that can be considered a mood. Lol.

I like to call the mood of my wedding.. “The Richness of Fall” I want people to feel like that they are walking int=to this warm, silky, luxurious embrace that makes them feel like all fuzzy inside … with glittery details of rustic orange and golds and burgundy…

I’m going for an understated elegant look. Simple but yet dazzling at the same time.

I have kind of a unique situation..
We are using the invitation for the wedding to convey a festive fall wedding, with formal elements to it.
However, we are also sending out invitations to an after the reception after-party. With these invitations we really want to show our guests our playful side and set the tone for the night!

We are having an island chic wedding. I used vintage Hawaiian postcards for the Save the Dates. My invites are white with a bird of paradise flower in the center and the printing goes over the top of it. I am aiming for colorful, casual, beach chic!

I hope people feel my invitations are classy, formal, and beautiful. They are really something special, I hope everyone else thinks the same!

“Rustic elegance” … we got married in a restored barn in Vermont in October. “Rustic elegance” was my mantra … from stationery, to dress, to flowers, etc.

OOOH. We want to evoke feelings of vintage romance. Hopefully, the shabby chic theme will get that done! :)

Coming from a chinese background everything is usually red. Red invitations, chinese printing, red chinese dress, chinese banquet. I am the rebel of the family and I hate following their rules so naturally everything about the wedding is going against tradition hehe. Hopefully my invitation will set the tone that this will not just be another typical wedding!

I think I’m going to have to term it “country elegance” - a little more formal than “rustic” but still a nice rural outdoor feel - just more like a summer house than the actual barn. :-) (Not that I’m insulting barns!! I swear I would have gone the “rustic elegance” route if I hadn’t had my country elegant venue all ready)

“semi-formal yet fun”. They’re on colored cardstock so they’re not *ultra* formal, yet the type and wording all suggest formality. Sine we’re incorporating color, though, I want our guests to feel that the wedding will be a lot of fun, and to start getting excited for it :-)

We are looking to convey an intimate and personal wedding filled with laughter and joy. How you do that through an invite, we have not quite figured out…but I’m open to suggestions! =D

Like a lot of the other posters, ours is “Falling in Love” (Fall). So we’re going with a warm ecru, with some leaf accents. Our STDs are postcards I made, with a background of fall-toned leaves. While the STD is a bit silly, we want people to see “Us” in them. Make sense?

Our ‘theme’ is shades of pink and texture - so we want to show that and make the invites/paper goods unique
