I’ve found one pair, now I just need its more formal counterpart. I know I want to wear 3″-ish heels for the ceremony, so I figured I could buy my reception/just-in-case flip-flops ahead. Mr. Lime and I stopped into a local skate/surf/snow store while waiting for a meeting with a potential DJ, and I came across these from one of my favorite (not to mention very affordable) flip-flop brands.
Don’t worry, the yellow and grey aren’t as noticeable in real life. Now if only I could find dressier but comfy wedges for my ceremony in the grass…

Victoria’s Secret has some cute (and more bejeweled) flipflops like that, too…
Those are so fun! My friend had white flops for her and then colored ones to match her bridesmaids’ dresses. I love the flop idea.
again, i forgot to mention the brand and source. the brand is cobian (http://www.cobianusa.com), “cali-white” style, and i bought them at a local [to mr. lime] HSS/huntington surf & sport (http://www.hsssurf.com).
i’m not much of a bling girl, so i just wanted white, cheap, and comfy. these met all of my criteria perfectly.
Cynthia Rowley has a lovely pair of high bridal wedges, except they’re 3.75″! Which may be too high. They’re gorgeous, though. You can see them on My Glass Slipper:
And then there’s these from Touch Ups, which are 3.25″ and just a leetle bit cheaper. They’re also adorable.

Sarah, I believe they’re slightly over 3 inches, and they’re very comfy. The straps are lined with fabric on the underside, so they don’t cut into your foot, and the sole is cushy/has some give. It is, however, still a slope, not a flat platform, so it may not be as comfy for some.
