Bridesmaids For Hire

Bridesmaids For Hire : wedding bridesmaid seattle Bridesmades bridesmades.jpg

Like Miss Kiwi, I’m sure many brides have experienced “difficult” bridesmaids. Well no fear, Xu Lisha, a student at the Tianjin Institute of Professional Technology, has come up with solution to all your bridesmaid woes! Hire a professional! A professional bridesmaid that is.

“In an online ad, she says she’s looking for: “University students are a must. Slim, generous looking, who deal with wedding incidents with wisdom and quick reactions.”

Xu told the Daily News: “I feel students are more pure and have good courtesies. More importantly, they need the money.”

She has hired herself out as a bridesmaid three times already and says she came up with the idea after seeing there is good market demand.”ananova

Seriously? People have hired her to be in their weddings? I can’t imagine hiring a perfect stranger to stand next to me on one of the biggest days of my life. Where do you put that in the program?

Amy……..Friend from College

Jenny……Friend from High School

Sarah……Sorority Sister

Xu……….Hired bridesmaid

That was one of the most saddening postsecrets I had ever read.

At my friend’s wedding last spring the other bridesmaids and I had so much fun together the week of the wedding (we didn’t know each other beforehand) that we joked about hiring ourselves out as bridesmaids.

That is so bizarre!

Bizarre. Also bizarre: I know back in Biblical times it was common to hire professional mourners to cry and wail at funerals. I think it’s not unheard of in certain cultures in modern times either.

Before I read the post, just looking at the pic, I thought it was a joke b/c the bridesmaids were so pretty– and I laughed b/c that’s my situation…my friends are hot! The groomsmen, not so much. My fiance and I joke that our wedding party is like a beauty and the geek episode, but the guys couldn’t be sweeter or more stand-up people.

But, it’s kind of sad if there are people that need to hire a wedding party or think that having pretty people in the pictures is what it’s about.

how ridiculous is that idea. is that what is important perfect looking people, what in the world has happened to sincere friendships and the important things in life!

That’s very pitiful, and pretty stupid. Some people have too much money, and not enough brains.

Having been a bridesmaid 12 times, I probably COULD hire myself out - I have enough experience! :)

boy, if that doesn’t defeat the importance and meaning of having a bridesmaid…

What a good businesswoman! And a good idea! Seeing as how none of my bridesmaids are equipped to fulfill the job description that I thought that position came with, it would be great to hire a few supportive, organized women to “attend” to me and let my friends have a good time as themselves instead of having to live up to my Hollywood-induced ideals.
