I’m so excited to report that I now have a grand total of five honorary bridesmaids!

Back when I was deciding initially, I really waaaaaanted to ask one of my friends, but we had drifted a teeny bit and I couldn’t quite decide if that “meant” anything or not. In the end I thought it would be less of a big deal to just not ask her. But then in the months following, she switched to a not-so-long-hours job. She was actually able to socialize more, and we totally reconnected so I finally got up the nerve to ask her last night!

Thankfully, she was sweet enough to accept and not be angry about her initial omission, and after a long semi-teary “I’ve missed youuuuuuu!” conversation we’re all good again! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, since she was one of my two best friends (with MOH) in college. People referred to us as “The Tricycle” and we were mutual best friends for yeeeeears, so I was heartbroken when we started drifting after graduation and I’m sooooooo glad to have her back! I had been meaning to ask her for quite a while now, but I was scared that it might be unpleasant if she held a grudge or anything, so yippeeeeeeee for it all working out so well!

Has anyone else tried adding a bridesmaid later on in the game? How did they react? Isn’t reuniting with an old friend like the best feeling EVER?
