Originally, we were going to go with a nearly $300 dress from Jim Hjelm, then changed our minds to Lazaro, but I decided to keep looking for a more cost-effective alternative, since I wanted to purchase everything for them - shoes, accessories, dress, hair, makeup, etc. Because I am not a multi-millionaire, I can’t afford to shell out over $500 per bridesmaid, as I am having 4 (can you believe I originally wanted to have 6?! what was I thinking??)
Anywhoo- I ordered some dresses today for the girls. They better fit and they better not look cheap! Although they were REALLY cheap - haha. 
Either way, if they don’t work out, I can always return them - ah, the beauty of buying off-the-rack.

My bridesmaid is wearing that one too.
I thought about those dresses, but the range of sizes isn’t enough for my girls. We’re going with Ann Taylor instead. I love that dress for myself though 
I saw that dress on the nordstrom’s website and loved it — i’m doing chocolate brown bm dresses, and am looking for something off the rack or at least reasonably priced (once burned as a bridesmaid, you know). Anyway, let me know if they are as cute in person as they are online. I’d love to know more about the fabric!

I LOVE it! I almost want to buy 3 for my girls, but I think it’s too similar to my gown (short romona keveza — click my name to see my knot bio and photo of the dress). Maybe I’ll just buy it for myself and wear it to the RD! Thanks
