I know, I know, Buffalo and that area has this bad rap for all of the snow that it gets… and this week is no exception. I have been completely unable to speak to anyone up there (my vendors) about anything due to the 4 feet of snow they got, because no one was at work the last two days. My mom said the cars that were parked on the street in town are literally waist deep in snow!
They got so much snow on Monday that the weatherman from Good Morning America was there doing the weather this morning, and he happened to be standing in front of a house about 5 blocks from our reception site.

i used to go to school in buffalo and even though buffalo just has three seasons: fall .. winnnnnnterrrrr .. then summer… the summers is buffalo were always great!!!!! its never tooo hot or humid.. ull have such great weather on ur wedding day
wow. see, i’m glad i only went as far as michigan. and i barely handled the ankle deep snow there. i’m a cali girl through and through!
My FI lives in Buffalo (Amherst). He’s a fireman up there and I’ve been hearing about all the snow this week. Jamie is so right about the summer weather though. I love going up there in the summer. I’m sure your wedding day is going to be gorgeous!

The Roycroft Inn in East Aurora is the absolute best. It is gorgeous http://www.roycroftinn.com and the food is great and David is the best. You can call them at 716.652.5552 - Ask for David and tell him Sarah Meyer sent you - he will totally take care of you!
He has been so extremely acommodating and helpful!
