I was perusing Oh Joy!’s blog where she recently posted her wedding highlight pictures from her photographer Karen Wise. I was admiring her gorgeous flowers when I realized *BAM* they are in my wedding colors! Duh!

So I present to you… my color scheme manifested in Joy’s fabulous bridesmaids bouquets! Deep red with accents of bright pink, pale green, chocolate brown and ivory (except I want to a go little darker with my red, but you get the idea). However, my bridesmaids will carry a dainty clutch of pale pink calas, while I carry the bright bouquet with all of these vibrant colors.

I also noticed that Joy’s amazing wedding dress is similar to mine! Yay! Ivory, all-over lace, V-neck with a trumpet flare and a small sweep train. But instead of the criss-cross, mine will have an ivory sash tied in a bow with a brooch. I don’t want to post my actual dress pictures publicly on here cuz Mr. E might be tempted to sneak a peek on Weddingbee every once in a while…

While I’m at it, here is the brooch that I found at Carson’s for a mere $20! I love that the center stone is emerald cut (hard to see in the pic), just like my engagement ring, and my “Miss Emerald” namesake. Perfect!
