Valentine’s Day Part II

February 14th, 2007 @ 2:58 pm by Mrs. Plum

As I am anxiously awaiting the delivery of my FI’s suprise V-Day gift, I forgot to tell you what I’m doing for him tonight!

I’m taking him out for dinner at N9NE Steakhouse… has anyone ever eaten there? I hope it’s good - the last time I went to a “chain” restaurant was Craft - and I was horribly disappointed! It wasn’t bad, but it certainly didn’t match up with all of the hype.

My good friends husband works there as a chef. He says there steaks are better then Bob’s and Three Forks. A fillet would cost around 50 dollars and its a la carte! I gave him a funny look, nothing can be better than Bob’s! -) He also worked at Nobu in Dallas as one of the chefs there.

Lisa - it was GREAT! it’s definitely my new favorite restaurant in the area - and that’s saying a lot! My fav before this was Abacus… going there again on Saturday lol, but definitely go there for your anniversary! the food is fantastic and the service is great! the only thing that wasn’t “great” was the wine list - they need to find a new sommelier! I did like the sauvignon blanc they had though - you shoudl try it if you like wine! :)

oh yah, get the surf and turf! yummmmy!
