Baby’s Got a New Band

February 15th, 2007 @ 3:59 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Okay, now I’ve given UPS the address of the man who received the empty shell of my package. They will determine how it arrived, and if UPS was in the wrong (DUH) they’ll do something about it. They even asked if I was sure my ring wasn’t shipped out in his toilet. Yeah. Cause toilets and titanium bands are often ordered from the same place.

So, while I wait for UPS to call back, I have ordered a new band from Titanium Era. Mr. Kiwi’s band will be coming with engraving, free shipping and no tax. I bought this ring for 60.00! How cheap is that? It’s because there is a sale going on today, lucky me.

It’s called Halo, and it was ordered at 8mm, with a brushed inside and polished sides. The engraving reads: “More Than Everything 11.3.07.”

I’m a fast worker! Heheheh, actually, I’m just always looking for a bargain. :)

Miss Kiwi, do you know if these bands are made with “comfort fit” on the inside? You know, where it is kind of rounded to make for a more comfortable fit? That is one of my FI’s only requests.

Crap, Val, I have no idea, I’ll shoot over an email to you, okay? They look like the traditional comfort fit, though. :)

Val–e-weddingbands.com has a *very* large selection of titanium men’s bands, most of which have comfort fit. :-)

And Miss K–I’m so glad you got it remedied so quickly! Way to be proactive!!!

Both my e-ring and his ring are from Titanium Era, and we had a very positive experience in terms of the comfort of the fit, the ease of doing business and our overall happiness with the rings. I’ve had mine almost 6 months and am still extremely happy! He has tried his on & it’s really comfortable (and mine is fantastic!).

Best of luck to you– what an awful situation with UPS but an impressive recovery under stress Miss Kiwi!

Hi Val: They ARE comfort fit. The email from them says “They are all made in a comfort fit”.

:)
Hope this helps!

My brother-in-law has the same ring. It’s a little bit light with the smaller sizes, so 8mm is a good size. Definitely very comfortable. For a platinum ring comfort fit is nice, not as much with titanium I think.

Very nice. I peeked at the site and love the Oriental rings as well. Guess we’ll be having a discussion when I get home.
