This year there was no fancy dinner (we had Chinese takeout!), no bouquet of roses. Instead, Mr. E decided to be “practical”, and got me these (longer lasting!) beauties:

*swoon* Ohhh, satin-polka-dotted-peep-toe-slingbacks, how I love thee! Ok, so these shoes are far from “practical” per se, but it was love at first sight over the weekend at Nordstroms. I would post a link so that y’all can get your very own pair, but these shoes are so new I cannot find them online anywhere (Peoni, Circa by Joan and David).

I really want to find these in RED and potentially wear them on my wedding day (black is nowhere in my color scheme), but I don’t know if they come in red. Or maybe I could wear them for my shower, or rehearsal dinner. They are surprisingly comfy too! Hrmm, perhaps I will cheat on my Lolas, but we shall see! I have a shoe fetish. Must… stop… buying… shoes!

Awesome, I am so into polka dots this year! I have always been, but since they are in style now, they’re easier to find Same situation here- instead of flowers, I got my Sabres jersey!
