This weekend I made a quick stop at the mall in search of a cute black clutch for a friend’s wedding that is soon approaching. While browsing the aisles of Nordstrom, I noticed the many perfume bottles that clutter the cosmetics counters.
I’m a pretty minimal maintence kind of gal on a daily basis - very little makeup, don’t blow dry hair, stopped color treating my hair over a year ago, and I hardly use perfume. The only times I’ll spray myself with my one and only Nanette Lepore Perfume is when I’m out with friends or Mr. Apple. But on my wedding day, I’ll be glammed out with dewy makeup, hair extensions, fake lashes, spanx gear, and everything else you can think of. So I was thinking, what about perfume? I’ll be greeting guests with either a handshake or a big bear hug, so I’d like to leave a nice smelling impression before I greet the next.
I picked up Miss Dior Cherie and sprayed a little on my wrists. I love this scent!

i got the same thing! but i don’t really like vanilla, altho i do love citrus.

i got the same too! though i’m with mrs. bee: vanilla is hit or miss with me. i find it to be quite thick and overpowering at times…but i love the light, citrusy scents.

Ahhh the sights and smells of a blissful wedding…
I didn’t really give much thought to buying a *new* smell for the wedding day, but I have heard/read about it from numerous blogs of how it [essentially] should remind you of your wedding day when you re-wear or randomly smell that scent again… for myself, I will be reminded of my wedding day everyday afterwards as I spend the rest of my life with my DH… If I do decide to wear a *special* day-of scent I will probably wear my mom’s favorite, Pleasures… to remind me of my mom who has recently passed and to remind me that she is there with me all the way even if it’s not in physical form…
I will be wearing the Nina Ricci perfume I picked up on our Paris trip where we got engaged. It smells divine, and the bottle is in the shape of an apple!! Its the cutest thing…
I intended to wear Clinique Simply, but I forgot to put it on! But I remembered it for the rehearsal, so it will still bring back memories.
i got the same thing as everyone else. this quiz is bogus! i may also wear creed love in white or my standby L’Artisan Parfumeur Premier Figuier.
