My Famous Shoes

February 21st, 2007 @ 9:28 am by Mrs. Hibiscus

Okay, so I blogged about my inexpensive yet very cute shoes yesterday. Today, I found two pictures of my shoes on some photographer’s blogs. I went through some stages - at first I was excited, then I was sad that they were so popular, and then lastly I accepted that if you have such cute shoes for cheap, chances are they’re going to be popular.

So here are the pics: #1 from Becker’s blog. and #2 from Amy Squires’ blog.

those ARE beautiful shoes and trust me, if the hell weren’t so high, I would have definitely gone that route - especially with such an unbelievable price!

besides, I think there’s too much pressure for everyone to feel like their wedding has to be unique in every way. Embrace that you have beautiful shoes, great taste, and a healthy pocketbook left!

They’re cute, and if they’re cheap then it’s understandable that they’re popular. They also look a lot like the Manolo Sedaraby that is extremely popular (but costs a lot more).

Yea…..I saw those on Becker’s blog yesterday and thought they looked familiar. It’s because I had seen them here. Well I think they are really cute!

Here’s another shot of the shoes:

They are cute. I think the reason they are so popular is b/c they are a knock off of the manolo of the same design. who wouldn’t want the manolo look for a fraction of the cost.

I was thinking about getting the Manolo’s until I saw these! How much do they cost?

Those are soooo cute! How much did they cost and how high are the heels?
I just saw your post from yesterday and if you go to ALDO, they have these stick-on pads you put on the bottom of your shoe to add more traction. It only costs like $4 or something like that and I bought them for my slippery-bottomed heels!

They’re $55 at David’s bridal and the heel is 3 inches. The best part is you can dye them after the wedding. :)

Does anyone know if the ones from Davids bridal are the same color as the actualy Manolo’s? I tried to do them in silver and they look nothing like the real ones. Has anyone bought these in a color just like the MB’s?
