My Payless Flower Girl Shoes

February 21st, 2007 @ 12:00 pm by Mrs. Apple

I found these cute shoes at Payless Shoe Store for my flower girl and junior bridesmaids.

My junior bridesmaids will be wearing a creme dress with a sage colored sash. A creme color shoe would match better, but it only comes in white or pink. Plus, they’ll be wearing white colored stockings underneath, so the white would be a better choice. Oh well, at least the price is great. Payless is having a buy one, get second half off sale through February 26!

I really wanted my girls to wear ballet flats since I personally love wearing them myself, and love how they’re so comfortable yet stylish. I tried to search online but couldn’t quite find the right match. The ones I loved were either too expensive (London Sole) or didn’t have enough support on the bottom of the shoe. I noticed that some of the flats didn’t have rubber soles at the bottom. I didn’t like that at all. I knew the girls would be running around the ceremony grounds, so healthy heels were my main concern! I’m pretty happy with this purchase. There sizes do run a little big so you might consider going half a size down.

Instead of paying $44.97, I paid $37.48 for three pairs of shoes. Great deal! I need to cut costs somewhere so I thought this would be a perfect place since I highly doubt they will wear the dresses or shoes (maybe) again. So in all, I spent under $60.00 for each junior bridesmaid and flower girl outfit.

That’s a great find because they can totally wear those again, and they’re age appropriate for most anyone.

I have been seriously considering wearing those shoes under my dress at my reception and possibly my ceremony. I’m all about comfort, and those shoes were beyond comfortable when I tried them on at the store.

I bought the same ones you got, except instead of the junior bridesmaid they are for me :) Sadly, I wear a kids’ size.

Funny you should say that. Those are by wedding shoes. The groom is short and requires that I wear flats. :-( But they are very comfortable!
