It Won’t Break The Bank…

February 22nd, 2007 @ 3:28 pm by Mrs. Strawberry

I have three celebrity hairstyles that I am debating on using for the big day - Carmen Electra, Jessica Simpson, and Christina Applegate.

I love the look of the vintage clips they used, however every site that I have come across has been super pricey. $250 dollars for a barrette is a little out of my price range to say the least. When I came across Head Piece Heaven, I breathed a sigh of relief! This is more like it. While a bit more than something you would find at a drugstore or Claire’s, they have a great selection!

This one might work to pull off the Carmen look and at $44, it won’t sting my wallet as badly.

-Please I beg u. The hairstyle may be a bad luck. Each of these weddings were in Instyle and each of their marriages lasted less than 5 years. Go for something else!

Very cute! Perfect timing, too. I was just this morning looking for hair accessories.

If you avoided every wedding hairstyle that was associated with a divorce, you might just have to pull a Brit and shave your head :)

what celebrity wedding has lasted more than five years anyway? all those hairstyles are classically pretty, but I like jessica’s best because she has some bangs. i need that for my fat face!

No, no, no! I MUST have the hair! I throw caution to the wind! I spit in the face of superstition! I kid. I kid. You’re right…they are all divorced. But they sure do look FAB for a bunch of divorcee`s!

lol true that they’re all divorced but screw superstition. pick a hairstyle you love so that you’ll feel beautiful on that big day. =)

And with your extensions you’ll be SMOKIN’! I am looking at similar styles (maybe all down) for the ceremony and up for the reception and I have been looking pink pins and barrettes–mostly eBay! :-)

I love Christina’s look personally - I think way too many people use Jessica’s hair as an example.
