Oh, I Hope He Picks Me!

Yesterday, while Mr. Daisy was at work, the following envelope arrived.
It contained an invitation to the wedding of a friend-of-a-friend. I do wonder who he will bring as his guest, since they left the option open for him… fingers crossed!

Unbelievable! One wonders why they would invite someone they didn’t even know was married–obviously a close friend…of a friend…of a friend…
This should serve as a remind to everyone that you need to do your research when addressing invites (STD’s are a good test run).

the truth is, i don’t think we’ll even make it… it’s out-of-town and on the same night as my 5-year law school reunion. just too funnynot to share, though.

As a not-so-side note: make sure you check your stuff. I know someone who’s husband (to be at the time) just listed his friends, and failed to include their others (bc it was more of a reference list). He apparantly missed the point, which was his list was being used to create the invitations and lists… and it would have been oh-so-helpful if he’d have mentioned that they were engaged or married… before the invites went out and they got calls saying “Um, is my wife also invited?” by concerned friends.
