I love those green and brown votives! I’d love to order some for my wedding, but man - parting with $600+ on votives would really wound the wallet. Yikes.

Couldn’t you make these?

Becky says:

You CAN make these. I made tall cylinders and small votives for my wedding. I bought vellum paper and decorative craft papers cut them to size and wrapped them around the votives and glass cylinders. To get them to stick I used those glue zots. I broke my digital camara otherwise I would post pics. I have made 200 of them and the total cost was $70. I bought the votives with candles in them from Joann Fabrics.

Those are very neat! I will have to check out that website. Could be a DIY–but a lot of us don’t want to put forth the effort. ;-)

OT: there was an entry that i did on paper. try to do a search on decorative paper on weddingbee and see if one of my old entries comes up. a good one is paper-source.com.

In my city there is a huge craft store. They do not have a website. But I would try Michaels Crafts, or even Walmart to find decorative vellum.

Awww, that would’ve coordinated perfectly with your table cards, menus, and overall color scheme.
