When I first started planning the wedding, I really wanted to purchase a cute, comprehensive and functional wedding planner that wasn’t too over the top/crazy/colorful. After months of hanging out at Barnes and Noble and searching online, I failed to find one that struck my fancy. They were all either too small, too oversized, didn’t have open rings, didn’t have folders/pockets, too garish, or just too expensive!
Finally, last month my wedding-prayers were answered!
I received an invitation from my bridal salon (the one I bought my Kenneth Pool gown from), Stanley Korshak, to a book release party by Kimberly Schlegel Whitman (you may have seen her on “Whose Wedding is it Anyway” or read one of her books). She’s a local Dallas socialite turned event planner/rental company owner.
It’s called “The Wedding Workbook”

This wedding planner features photos from her own wedding, which by the looks of it, was really amazing - her over 1000-guest wedding was also featured in Town & Country Weddings a while back and a lot of times in my favorite local wedding magazine, D Weddings. I was even inspired by the cover and decided on having a bouquet of lily of the valley for my bridal bouquet!
I bought mine off Amazon.com for a great deal - never pay full retail when you can avoid it! ![]()
Now I am the epitome of organized bride!
Well, maybe not - my wedding magazines are spread out in a pile on the floor in my room - I have to jump around to find an open space on the floor to place my foot when I want to walk anywhere in my room… hahaha
