A Simple Bathroom Basket

March 5th, 2007 @ 11:30 am by Mrs. Lemon

I’m a big fan of a simple and elegant bathroom with personal touches, be it in a fancy boutique hotel or the little personal elements you set out in your guest bathroom. Miss Kiwi asked earlier about bathroom baskets, and I finally realized what I REALLY wanted to set out for my invited friends and family: soap. Yup… that’s it… soap.

I love fancy soap, and just like fancy stationery; I think it’s so special that I can’t stand to see it get opened and used for its original purpose. In fact, I probably give out soap (in its various forms) more than any other sort of present… hopefully no one thinks I’m implying something by it!

And I found my answer thanks to Valsey and Me.

I’m going to order my favorite soap loafs from various places, cut them into chips, wrap them up and put them on display for both the guys and gals! This way, I get to fancy up the restroom a bit and keep up my love for sharing the sudsy goodness! Totally unnecessary, but a fun little touch for me.

Hey :D
Check out Soaptopia on Venice between Grandview and Centinela. I’ve heard it’s kind pricey but they seem to have everything soap.
