Stomping Down the Aisle

March 5th, 2007 @ 3:45 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Yes ladies, I have bought my wedding shoes. While I’m hoping they aren’t nearly as “unbridal” (did I just make that word up?) as the other shoes I picked before, I really don’t care.

I love my shoes that I bought from Macy*s online. They are exactly what I wanted: wedges, 4.5″ tall, and in champagne color. It seems that only Macy*s has this color, since I’ve looked everywhere else, and they come in colors like orange and blue (which would be a neat “something blue”), but not the champagne color.

When I was feeling guilty about the price, I told Mr. Kiwi that they are the right shoes, but so expensive. When Mr. Kiwi heard the price, he WAS shocked. Not because of the price, but because he thought I’d spend at least another hundred more. Whoo hoo! Under the budget!

Anyway, without further ado… my shoes!

Available at Macy’s, and they were $89.00. Luckily, I must have caught the last day for free shipping! Whoo hoo!

Anyway, I found my dream shoes and can now try on my dress WITH the shoes. Whoo hoo!

I think they’re super cute! From the top down they look very bridal, plus you get a nice chunk of height added on there! I think they’re perfect for you - congrats!! :-)

Those are super cute shoes - and I’m all about “unbridal” shoes.

My fiance talked me into getting these for the big day: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/19059328/c/63744.html
They’re totally cute, and the best part is - I can take them with us on the honeymoon!

Hey, that’s a good deal considering so many wear Vera Wang and Stuart Weitzman. ;-) I am looking for a pair in that price range as well. :-)

They’re great! Definitely something you can use after the wedding :-)

You should take that “leftover” money and pick them up in blue, too. :-P I mean, Mr Kiwi was expecting you’d spend it anyway, right? hehehehe

Those are adorable! And I agree with Miss Bluebell. They look pretty bridal to me. Gosh I’m tempted to buy myself a pair now! And Nine West shoes are so comfy! But I’m cheap and like you, I think that’s a lot of money to spend on shoes haha.

It’s great to keep eyes peeled for shoes every time you walk down the street! My mom found me just what I wanted (9 West flats) for $3.00 (yes, three bucks) at TJ Maxx. So you never know!

They are great, Miss Kiwi! I love that you were able to get something that looks a little more wedding-ish but still keep with your original wedge goal. Plus, they are definitely shoes that you would wear again after the wedding, unlike a lot of bridal shoes. And, as an extra bonus, they look very comfy!
