Something Old…

March 8th, 2007 @ 11:53 am by Mrs. Blueberry

Finally, I’ve got:

Something Old:
My strapless bra! I bought it just for the wedding but have already worn it several times since. So I figure that can count, right?

Something New:
My gown, my shoes, my underwear, my garter, veil, most of my jewelry…take your pick!

Something Borrowed:
A faux pearl bracelet lent from my mom.

Something Blue:
Something Old... : wedding kansas city traditions Z788264 z788264
(this little DIY cost literally $1.00 for the crystals from Michaels, and took about 10 minutes).

I love your DIY crystals! I have always loved the initials on the soles of the shoes idea but there isn’t anyone around here that would do that so I am very thankful that you shared that idea! I am sooooo stealing that - I hope you don’t mind!

Did you use stick-on crystals?

Cute! I DIYed shoes crystals (with our monogram and wedding date) for my something blue, too. I used teeny tiny crystals, though, so it took a little longer than 10min. :-P

Can I see the rest of the shoes please?

It is a cute idea. I always love, “Diamonds on the soles of her shoes.”

Hehe - I figure my undies will be my something old AND something blue. I have no idea what my something borrowed will be. The new? Not too tough.
