About Ms Broccoli

Mellow Yellow

March 9th, 2007 @ 6:35 pm by Ms Broccoli

My father gave this necklace to my mother a few years ago. The little kid inside of me that drools over anything big and yellow loves it to pieces. The chain needs to be cleaned up some, but otherwise, everything about it is perfect. It looks nice with the sweetheart neckline of my dress, and brings in some of the yellow that I’ve included in our wedding plans.

Here it is from a bit further back:

What do you think? Too big? Too yellow? Or maybe, just maybe… perfect?

I love it. If your flowers are yellow it’ll look even better.

If you have some yellow/orange or warm colors in your bouquet, perfect! :) Also depends on your dress decorations. But what it really comes down to is if you love it!

I love it. It makes me want to bring some red and gold into my accessories to compliment my wedding colors too.

I think it is wonderful! It seems as though the necklace is very important to you and it will be nice to have a little bit of your Mom so close to your heart that day.

I absolutely love that necklace, and it seems to go well with your wedding and looks good with your dress, so there isn’t any reason for you not to wear it.

gorgeous! i love a pop of different color. i don’t think you need yellow anywhere else but you should have something that will go well with it. like red or blue. mmm…red, yellow and turquoise…..you’re giving me ideas.

I love non-traditional jewelry and am also wearing some vintage, non-clear/white rhinestone jewels. I think that, if you love it and it has sentimental value and–bonus–it’s your color? SCORE! :-)

Love it! A deep yellow is our wedding color too… so you’ve given me a good idea for possible wedding jewelry (not that into diamonds or pearls).
