I finally took pictures of our centerpiece stuff. They are comprised of a golden color pillar candle, some of the floral glass marble things and a vase. There is also a rust colored ribbon, but I just tied it into a bow since I’m not sure what to do with it.

We bought many things to try in the vases - rocks, different colored candles, different colored marbles, and candy. After all the different things were thrown together, this is what we like (again, the ribbon is a test run).

Now, when I see the elaborate floral designs and the towering displays of other weddings I feel a little wistful. Then I remember, floral centerpieces weren’t something I wanted. I wanted low, glowing vases that give off a sparkle. There are more things we’re going to use to dress up the tables, but we’re not entirely sure what yet.

So this is our trial centerpiece run. While it may look cheap to some, I really like the minimalism involved.
