He proposed after dating just two months - crazy, I know, but 2 years later, here we are, still crazy in love :-). We are having not one, but TWO weddings and TWO receptions in one weekend - American-style and Vietnamese-style - in Dallas, Texas, where I was born and raised!

When I was in Vietnam back in January, I had some ties custom made for my Fiance for the wedding and other wedding-related festivities - my uncle finally brought them back over with him when he came back a couple weeks ago:

If the colors look familiar, it’s because they’re made from the same fabric bolt that I had my ao dais made from. The green ones with the characters on them matches my engagement ao dai and the blues are for the groomsmen.

If you have the chance/connections, you should definitely have them custom made overseas - you save a bundle and they’re really great quality - each tie ended up being about $3 or so and they’re 100% silk!
