Embossing Away!

March 19th, 2007 @ 4:24 pm by Mrs. Lemon

It’s finally my turn to brag about my lovely embosser from Wilshire Graphic Press. Miss Plum provided a lovely review of her custom embosser a few months ago, and like her, I’m a highly satisfied customer.

The embossers are $49.95 each, which includes both the embosser itself and the plate that you design. They have quite a few graphics and fonts to choose from, but they allow you to create a custom embossing plate for only $10 more ($59.95 total). I opted to create one using our wedding logo that consists of our initials and our rose motif. After I submitted my payment, I sent them my digital artwork, which had a few thin lines that they needed to bold up.

They took care of the changes, sent me the proof, and a week later my embosser was in my hands!

And here is the beautiful result:

I was so excited I actually embossed all of my RSVP envelopes that same day… and I started on the Thank You envelopes. Additional plates are only $29.95, so when Mr. Lemon and I have a permanent common address, I’m sure we’ll be buying more!

Wow - I’m really impressed with how well the rose came out! I have an embosser too and I always thought the really little details wouldn’t come through as clean as other parts. Your envelopes look great!!

Now - on to the paper napkins, place cards, favors, menu cards, table numbers……

My bf got his notary embosser for like $20 at Office Depot. It took two weeks for them to make it and they called him when it was ready to be picked up.

It came out great! The rose embosses really well. We got a WG embosser, too, and I’m using it on everything. I’m so with you on going back for another address plate. :-)

The return address embosser saved us SO much money and it looks so fine! Used it for the wedding invites, rehearsal invites, thank yous… can’t wait for holiday cards! It works best on heavier papers.

Darnit, now I really want one! -D Unfortunately, we’re going to be moving a lot for the next few years (gotta love law school and cheap apartments!) so it’ll be a while before we can get a return address one :-)

I love my embosser from WG Press! Your plate came out lovely. We used the same layout too.

And… we just bought a house and one of my first thoughts was: time to order an address plate! Yes, I’m obsessed with mine. :)
