I Self magazine. It is one of the few non-wedding related magazines that I subscribe too. I love that its contents run the gamut - everything from easy workouts, healthy recipes, travel, fashion, makeup, and promoting an overall healthy lifestyle. I’ve always taken note of their yearly Self Challenge that runs every March through May, but have never been motivated enough to take part (no subscription necessary, by the way!).

But THIS is the year! I have 5.5 months left til the Big Day, so it’s now or never. While I am generally lazy in terms of logging in my food intake and my daily workouts, I am going to make a conscious effort to stick with it for the next few months. It’s great that I can log in from work or home and keep track… maybe this will keep me inspired and give me that extra boost that I am currently lacking. The websiteis absolutely great, with daily tips, workout ideas, recipes, your tracking tools, and even chances to win prizes!

Good work! I did Self Challenge last year for the first time, and gold almighty, it worked! Im a pretty big fitness buff normally, but it was great that it gave me a schedule of what I had to do, and I stuck with it. I normally keep a food journal, but I loved how I was able to do it online, write down my feelings, etc. There is a great online community, too. If you stick with it, you’ll definintely see changes in the first month! GOOD LUCK!
Oh, it’s only a 3 month thing, so u can start now and just do some maintenance after, or wait a month ans do it then. Have fun! Ps. Self is MY fave mag too!

I tried the Self Challenge a couple months ago but it didn’t work for me…i just never really found the time to do all the things it asks…even tho it’s not a lot…but it’s quite time consuming…i find…but i know it’s worked for many people

I haven’t done it before, but I’m doing it this year. I love SELF too…they’re one of the few magazines that cite their psych studies when they put the findings in there. It just makes it seem like so much less of a fluff read.
