Despite being very “whatever you want” about the wedding, Mr. Kiwi has surprised me by asking for cufflinks. So, I want to find him some cute ones. He’s a very sporty guy, but also very traditional. He’d like something that isn’t too out-there or silly.
And yeah… these are silly, and can only be used once, but I like them- and they’re $45.00!:
And these are very traditional and classy. AND $650.00! For cryin’ out loud!
I really like these ones, kind of classic with a bit of whimsy. And for $100.00, not bad! They are smoked mother of pearl with a sterling silver setting.
All of the above cufflinks were found on cufflinks.com, and most seem reasonably priced. What kind of cufflinks did you get your FI/Did he get himself? Where were they from?

I custom made him Darth Vader ones. Although my original idea was the get the silver plated ones that have “Just say I do” engraved on them.
I once got him ones made from the old NY Subway tokens for his birthday.

not for the wedding, but i have gotten him antique typewriter key cufflinks from ebay. they were very inexpensive (i think less than $10) and i got to choose which keys i wanted. he loves them!
Although we did not buy our cuff links yet, my FI has bought cuff links for himself at Macy’s. They were pretty reasonably priced at 20 something dollars especially if there is a sale. Also, if you are saving $$, check out the Ross, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshall’s as well. There are some good deals.

I got my now husband scrabble cufflinks. He loves scrabble. They’re $85 from Red Envelope. They use the travel size scrabble pieces (in whatever letter you want) so it’s smaller and cute.
MY FI spotted kenneth cole ones at macy’s for $45. i got the same exact ones at burlington coat factory for $19.99
i found these great unicorn cufflinks with sapphire eyes. we have a little inside joke about unicorns, so they’re perfect!
I got hims mountain biking ones and prop ones. The prop is sweet looking and he’s an ocean engineer/naval architect so I figured he could always wear them for work related things.
I’m not getting my FI cufflinks. But, http://www.etsy.com has some very unique ones!
Love knots. Perfect for “love” and tying the “knot” plus they can be worn for anything else afterwards. Tiffany sells a classic but they can be found anywhere and even the non-gold/silver ones still look great.
