Since engagement, I’ve been set on a Fall-Themed wedding. This is why my first steps of wedding planning began with the Another Fall Bio page. It had plenty of ideas with pumpkins, leaves and flowers. Now that I have to decorate a ceremony, I have gone back to my favorite bio.

Today I’m looking for some pumpkin ideas for decoration and things like that. So, here are a few I’m loving, perhaps you will too!

I agree with Iris - love the last photo! What if you did numbers instead and used them in place of traditional table numbers??

Toooo cute! Can you maybe have your flowergirl carry something pumpkin-related? A smallish pumpkin? Several tiny ones in a basket?

You could serve a pumpkin dish (soup? maybe even serve it in a gourd or small pumpkin), or pumpkin pie (or pumpkin wedding cake, yum, with cream cheese icing). You could give small pumpkins (w/ recipe?) for guests to take home as favors. You could entertain children with a pumpkin decorating corner (washable markers, felt… not paint or scooping out the pulp — too messy) or send children home with a pumpkin decorating kit.

Doesn’t Cinderella arrive in a pumpkin coach?

Or if the pumpkin theme looks too casual, maybe use it for the rehearsal or morning-after brunch? The candles and strong colors are more elegant than the Thanksgiving-looking dry stuff.

You could start calling your FI “Pumpkin”…
