DIY Purse

March 26th, 2007 @ 11:33 am by Mrs. Blueberry

I just found these great instructions for a DIY clutch!

Though they suggest making it in velvet, it looks to me like the pattern would transfer just as well into any number of fabrics.

You could personalize them as lovely BM gifts, make one of alterations scraps from your gown to make a lovely bridal bag, or even (my favorite!) make one for your “ring girl” (female ring bearer) to carry! Not to mention its applications outside the realm of weddings. smiley101

Avon has similar clutches on sale from about 3.99 to 9.99. Check it out. You can even shop online, and if you subscribe to their email distribution list, you get great discount codes and free shipping, etc.

Thank you so much…I have some extra fabric that cost me a pretty penny and didn’t know what to do with it. Now I don’t have to feel bad that the fabric was a waste of money because I will be using it to make clutches for the ladies in my bridal party!!
Excellent instructions. This will make the most personalized gift :)
