Target Flowergirl Dresses

March 27th, 2007 @ 9:27 am by Mrs. Hibiscus

I was at Target the other day and happened to see my wedding colors popping out at me in the form of a little girl’s Easter dress. My first thought was, “How cute! I would wear this if they had it in my size!” Then, my second more rational thought was, “Hmm…..little girl’s dress…….wedding colors………..cute………cheap…….Hello……..perfect flower girl dress for only $18.99!!!!”

Isn’t it pretty and the material is kind of a knock off my Aria bridesmaid dresses. The Moms all went out to buy them already. If you haven’t check out Target’s Spring dresses yet, give it a try! You might get lucky too.

With all the adorable little girl dresses at Target and at the department stores for Easter I will never understand why anyone would pay in the $100 plus range for a flower girl dress from a specility store. Esp. since the little girl will outgrow it by next year. Can’t beat 18.99!

I’ve got Target Flower Girls too! I actually found two that would work for our soft pink/green theme. God Bless Target, I always say.

Here’s mine: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_7/601-3297862-5027309?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000MN97JK

Awesome find!

Target wedding registry stinks but YEA to getting the children’s clothes there cheap.

Does anyone know where I can find a size 16-18 flower girl dress that is reasonably priced? Our flower girl is 11 years old, and has already outgrown size 16 clothes for the most part, so I am having major trouble finding something for her to wear. The good thing is, we don’t have many requirements - simple satin ivory or cream colored - tea length or floor length - sleeveless. I want something that I can just add a ribbon sash to around the waist band (in one of our wedding colors).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
