DIY Wine Charms & Marble Magnets

March 31st, 2007 @ 4:58 pm by Mrs. Bee

Not Martha has great step by step tutorials on how to make your own wine charms and marble magnets. Either of these would be excellent bridal shower or wedding favors - they’re both easy to make and super affordable! I’m definitely going to try these projects when I need some cute, inexpensive gifts. Thanks Not Martha! :)

Nice fresh ideas.
I’ve become a fan of http://www.craftster.org - they have a section on weddings. You must sift through posts, some better than others, but some unique ideas there, too.

I’m making the magnets and putting 2 at each place setting in a little bird nest.

I love the magnets too! BUT our cat loved them even more than we did…she loves knocking them off the fridge and about 80% of the time the magnet and marble thing break apart when she does that. So only a couple of them are actually in one piece at this point! But they were sooo super cute while they lasted, and incredibly easy to make!

I’m actually having these marble magnets for my wedding favors. Mine will be in a black and white damask pattern and then i’ll have some solid apple green and ruby red ones as well. I love them and have heard they are super easy to make, I just really don’t want to screw them up since I’ve never done it before and I have to make a few hundred! . So I’m having someone make some of mine for me for a low cost. Then perhaps I’ll try to make some myself if I feel confident enough :o)
