Candy Buffet Centerpieces

April 1st, 2007 @ 12:08 pm by Mrs. Snow Pea

It has been said that you should only put on the table what you can eat. Mr. Snow Pea and I were in the King of Prussia Mall; the second largest mall in the U.S. after the Mall of America, and there was this Easter setup sponspored by Crate & Barrel. Being the photo fanatic that I am, I whipped out my camera. I know we’ve seen candy buffets before, but is anyone using candy as a centerpiece?

I think this is a neat idea for Easter entertaining as well.

We are doing something similar. The non-edible part of our centerpieces is relatively small in terms of how much of our table it covers. To take up more space, we’re doing several smaller dishes of candy at each table, in our wedding colors. It’s an easy way to take up space without big expensive centerpieces, and it will double as our wedding favors for anyone who wants to take them home.

Love KoP Mall!

We used edibile decorations on the welcome table and cake table. A big hit!

I hadn’t thought about it but I’m adding it to my list of ideas. I might do the personalized M&Ms.

I think it definitely depends on the tone of your wedding, but looks so fun and colorful! We considered this since we’re have a more garden-y wedding and our colors are brights. Could be as expensive as flowers???? Good post!
