6 Random/Weird Things About My Wedding

While I’m waiting for pictures, thought I’d give you some trivia about my wedding! (sometime later, I’ll do some about myself in general)
1. I never got a hair trial
2. I never got a makeup trial
3. I forgot (sort of- got really busy and did not have time) to get a manicure/pedicure, not even an at-home kit. Felt okay about this, afterall who will look so closely at my fingers?? Yeahh, except my photog was like “I’d like to take pics of you and your husband’s hands with the wedding rings on.” DOH! I knew there was a reason why I wanted to make sure my nails were painted, even if it’s just clear. Yeah, I didn’t even do that. Oh wells.
4. During rehearsal, I got red flower pollen on my white dress. Better the day before than the day of, right?
5. The girls were running late so my BMs got dressed at the hair salon and I got dressed in less than 2 minutes in the church bathroom. (so much for the “getting ready” pictures. Haha)
6. My MOH sang a short piece at the end of her toast to us- twas lovely~
7. Okay, I know there’s supposed to be only 6, but I had to say… despite some of the craziness, it was an amazing day, I love love love the man I now call husband, and I wouldn’t have had in any other way. ^_^
I’m hoping to start posting pictures at the end of this week!

I had the same last minute experience and ended up getting ready in about 10 minutes (also no hair trial and no pro makeup at all).
Congrats! But I have a question–why are you still “Miss” Peach? Did you keep your name? Or is it just an oversight?
oops sorry ladies! changing to mrs. now.
Yay! I just took bridal portraits this past weekend without a hair trial (it still turned out fine, IMO) and after I got dressed and put on makeup in about 15 minutes before heading out the door. Oh well!
Congrats again and I hope your marriage is off to a great, happy start!
Our hall had a blackout for our rehearsal, and the next day was the blizzard of the year. Our wedding day was nice weather but all of our guests have funny stories about what they had to do to get to the wedding. Wonderfully, everyone made it except a few whose flights were cancelled.
Our MC got violently ill the night before the wedding and we had a last minute replacement. He was terrific though.

I was originally going to ask if I could be Miss Mango bc I loveee mangos sooo much, but in the end decided to be true to my GA peach roots! woot!
Its good to hear that after everything, you still: 1) had a great wedding 2) didn’t go bridezilla and 3) had awesome memories and a great time! Congrats to you and Mr. Peach!
