For The Letter Lovers

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobuckethile shopping at Anthropologie yesterday, I came across a lot of letters.

The above display had the following products:

Printer’s Letter Stand (14″ H x 6.5″ W)

$28 each. Zinc Letters (8″ H x 5″ W), $18 each

Yep, you can do the “I do” or “we do” thing on your cake table, do the hanging monogram thing with the zinc letters+some hooks or ribbon instead of floral letters (more reusable after the wedding), or just stand these huge ones up (just over 2′ tall, each), perhaps lining a walkway to your ceremony area, to make a big statement (no pun intended).

Oversized Zinc Letters (25″ H), $98 each (ouch, I know).

For the rustic wedding, we have recycled wood:

Recycled Wood Alphabet Letters (8.5″ H x 5″ W), $16 each.

You could always hang pomanders, flower cones, or something else (cue: anyone with better ideas) from these:

Brass Letter Hook (8.75″ H x 3-4″ W), $10 each.

Letter Hooks (in buff white, 8.5″ H x 4″ W), $16 each.

For the classic wedding where weighty brass would not look out of place. These paperweights could stand upright on your escort card table, guestbook table (or on your guestbook itself to keep it open), cake table, sweetheart table… the possibilities are endless.

A-to-Z Paperweights, (2″ H x 2″ W), $12 each.

These are definitely more expensive than the PaperSource ones Miss Pearl previously blogged about, and Miss Strawberry has been working at to make her own, but for the shabby chic (antique white hooks, fabric letters), rustic (wood letters), or industrial chic (zinc letters) wedding, they can definitely give a little more character (har har) to your event.

They would be a great alternative to table tents. Instead of numbers, guests can sit at table A, B, C, etc.

I love the wooden ones but couldn’t think of what to use them for.

They have some great fabric covered ones for a more funky feel.

This is great! My FI and I were in Anthropologie this weekend and bought the Printer’s Letter Stand in “P” — to celebrate his/our new last name :)

We had some gold-painted wooden letters that we hung on the door to the reception site. They were so pretty! We bought ours during the holidays at Restoration Hardware but I haven’t seen them since…I assume they’re only seasonal. They were about $10 apiece. Here’s a photo: http://tinyurl.com/2tbhpx

I do like the letters. I had a vendor on eBay cut out our first initials in 18″ foam for $11 each. Yes, I could have done it myself, but most likely not in Benguiat font. (It would have not looked great if I did it, trust me.) I’m going to cover them in moss, add silk or paper flowers, and hang them on the doors of our venue. The good part of them being foam is it will be easy to stick in the flowers and attach the moss.
