I’m still in the process of finding ideas/sorting through my millions of saved photos and selecting a cohesive vision… silly

Anyone else do this or am I just crazy?

In the beginning of our planning I did that! I can show you mine when I get home. I even went as far as to glue flowers on a particular bm dress, etc.

I haven’t done this, however, I have tons of pictures I can do this with. BTW, you have inspired to do this for my wedding planner so that my ideas are clear when we start talking about DECOR! Thank you so much! :-)

Not crazy at all! I did it for my wedding, and for my sister’s bridal shower. Visuals are usually the best way to convey your ideas.

Nope, not crazy! I made a powerpoint presentation for myself with a slide for the ceremony, one for the reception, one for the bridesmaids, etc. :-)

random, but the picture on the reception board with your lighting setup is actually where i’m having our reception i think - the knowlton mansion in philadelphia?

I think I’ve said before, if things like that are crazy, then welcome to the loony bin!

I am doing something similar so the DOC and everyone else helping knows how to set up all the “special” tables. I guess I am totally visual like that!

I made a powerpoint chart for the florists I interviewed. I found that it also helped to put on pictures of things I hated (with a red circle and slash to make it clear that I didn’t like them), so that I could explain the things I didn’t want, too.

I need to do this–the stuff I’ve been tearing out of magazines is all nicely organized, but the photos I’ve pulled off of websites are all just here and there.

I did put together a sheet for the florist that I sent with the deposit: a photo of the dress, the maids’ dresses, and the site, with my few ideas and opinions. Beyond that, she’s on her own.

i love what youve done here! i have millions of photos but now see the benefit to combining the favorites / real decor into one storyboard. what a great idea! what program did you use to piece it together?

also, i LOVE (truly and utterly LOVE) the image in the bottom row of your reception board with the floral “border” (for lack of a better term right now..) around the table linens and would love to maybe do this on my placecard table. would it be possible at all for you to email me that image??? (bkimmell at gmail dot com) or let me know where you got it and i’ll download it too. thanks so much!!
