I came across this site via one of the many photography blogs I’m subscribed to, but I can’t remember and couldn’t find which when I went back.

Anyway, it’s got some good FAQs that answer many basic questions you might have as you first start looking for a photographer, sample price lists [including one in Croatian (?)], and sample contracts. Everything is contributed by professional wedding photographers who are a part of a collective that contributes to this site. If you’ve already hired a photographer or are knee-deep in the process, it might not help. If you’re just starting out, though, definitely take a peek.

You know, my photographer recently emailed me asking what posed shots I wanted… and I realize.. I’m not sure. I mean I have a good idea, but I don’t realllly know.

i believe martha stewart has a list in every issue of the weddings magazine, there is one on labridezilla.com under ‘templates,’ and i’m sure a google search would yield some more ‘must-take lists.’

Thanks for posting this.

About.com also has a good list of shots. I googled “wedding photography list” and found several lists of must-have shots.

As a part-time photographer and one who is involved heavily in the industry, I can tell you that most photographers today aren’t keen on shot lists.

A lot of checklists and information you find online comes from dated print material. I’m glad you posted the link to Wedfog because it truly has up-to-date answers and information.
