On yesterday’s show, Martha Stewart had Karen Porter of Tilly’s Cakes on to teach everyone how to make Petit Fours with little butterflies. I have posted a couple of times about the bridesmaid tea I’m hosting the day before the wedding, and Petit Fours were one of the must have aspects. I was so excited to see these easy steps! I think I will do them with candied violets or make them into little wedding cakes.

Or maybe I’ll cheat and buy flowers like these from Wendy Kromer Confections. These cherry blossoms are $28.00 for a set of 24. Aren’t they so cute!
I have made them before. They are ridiculously time consuming, but oh-so-worth the effort. I like the tiny wedding cake idea!
