About Mrs. Snow Pea

Here’s a peak at my second newsletter. Sinced the first newsletter, there were so many new updates that I felt the need to make a second one. What was I thinking!?! wtf In this edition, I covered all the DIY projects that I was about to embark upon and requested their assistance (evil Miss Snow Pea).

Cover Page - This photo was from our cake tasting with Food Attitude. Our cake is the one on the left.

I described the purpose of the OOT bags and what they would include: NYC themed items such as a pretzel, 5th avenue candy bar and a red apple. Included in the OOT bag will be the water bottles with the labels I made.

Just for fun, I included some pictures from the bridesmaids dress fittings. Below are suggestions for shoes with price information from zappos. Notice the *shoes* in the city instead of “sex and the city”.

Centerfold - This talks about the invitation process and breaks down everything from designing, printing, assembling and where I got the idea from. Also, the cake will coordinate with the invitation.

Of course I couldn’t let an issue pass without mentioning Princess Diana. Mr. Snow Pea gave the book as a Christmas gift. I love reading it and flipping through all the pages.

Back Page - Engagement photo by our wedding photographer Henry Chan. I have to use them up somehow.

At the bottom, I included our wedding website and I still love my barcode font!

I just might do one more issue to close things up. It will basically cover the wedding day itinerary, rehearsal dinner, make up and hair information, bridal party photo session information, and all the other little details about the wedding day.

We’re always asking such thought provoking questions on weddingbee. What do you think? Now, is it time for for an intervention? laughin01

Great job Miss Snow Pea! Don’t take this the wrong way but it sounds like you’re a little obsessive-compulsive so in your case you should do a third issue for some closure.

Mrs. Bee says:

beautiful work! i’d feel so special if i were one of your bridesmaids. :)

Miss Pumpkin says:

I love them! No intervention neccessary - I am sure that your bridesmaids love getting them and are excited that you are sharing so many of the details of the planning with them. Good work Miss Snow Pea!

where did you get your boxes for your out of town bags?

Miss Snow Pea says:

for gable boxes, click on my name. it’s bags and bows.

Natalie says:

I love it! Unfortunately, if I tried one, my bridesmaids would think I’m psycho, just because they’re so laid back (lazy). My Excel timeline already made them roll their eyes.

Your newsletters are awesome.

Miss Snow Pea says:

Thank you ladies,

Yeah I have alwayyysss been this way. Ask any of my teachers or friends. I was like this even with school projects as a kid. ;) It’s not a sudden wedding compulsiveness…it’s a “miss snow pea compulsiveness”. My MOH actually laughed when she saw the first issue. She knew I would come up with something like this.

For those who asked, I used Photoshop to make it.

Kirsten says:

nice job but i’m afraid it might scream “bridezilla” to your girls.

Kim says:

Ignore Kirsten (pointing up). You put a lot of time and love into your newsletter, and if you’ve ‘always been like this,’ your girls will not only expect it, they will LOVE it. Fantastic job!
