Here is what happens when you combine a bit of luck with a simple response to a magazine contest (thanks again Miss Plum!!!):

I think everyone really likes me with long hair…guess I never should have started cutting it WAY back in sixth grade. 
In all, my “day of beauty” was lots of fun. Being a lazy student for the past two years, it made me realize how much fun I was going to have getting all glammed up for the wedding in a few months. The photoshoot was in Hollywood, and altogether I spent about four hours on the set from my arrival until the last photo was snapped. Everyone was amazingly nice, and in case they’re reading, I want to say THANK YOU once again for a wonderful escape from real life!
So I have to admit that I keep seeing issues of The Bride and Bloom on newsstands and I pause and smile to myself, knowing that my picture is inside. Kinda strange, but it’s still a fun feeling.

I have been in a magazine for different things in the past also and I did the exact same thing everytime I saw the magazine on the rack in a store.
