Mood Fabrics, Again

April 17th, 2007 @ 2:28 pm by Mrs. Lime

Yes, yes, Miss Pearl already posted about this fabric wonderland. BUT…I come bearing actual photos of the place!

Bolts upon bolts!

It doesn’t look it from my crapular photo, but their sections are actually quite well organized. My neck did hurt from looking up for so long, though. This is only half an aisle of quite a few.

Aqua/red obsessed? Moi?

Yes, I take pictures of anything red/aqua that I spot, but I don’t usually post them to shield you all from the true extent of my compulsions.

My colors guide that I carry in my wedding planning bag:

It’s nestled among its oh-so-slinky silk charmeuse friends. Too bad the BM dresses we picked won’t really work in charmeuse.

No trim stocked yet. It looks like they have some lace behind the counter, but no bolts or huge quantities in yet. It was truly refreshing to wander around here, however, after enduring downtown madness previously. The prices are slightly higher than downtown, though, and there’s no room to negotiate. Did I buy anything? Alas, there were only 2.5 yards left of the shantung that I wanted, and I needed 9 yards. New York was out of it, too. Try again, Miss Lime, try again.

When you walk into Mood, if you walk to the right (kinda near the register), there is an island and then a wall of fabrics. I saw bolts of lace on that island on the right hand side there facing the wall. Last I went, they had lace bolts in white, ivory, and black.
