I finally booked my makeup artist! The first time I ever met her was right before my bridal portrait on Monday - she’s so much fun and she’s SOO talented! I was so confident in her abilities, I didn’t even do a trial - and everything turned out GREAT! She has done tons of tv shows, award shows, the Olympics, etc. I highly recommend her. Her work is SO amazing! A+++ Tell her Thuy sent ya!

My hair was really great too! I gave Susan the pictures of Marcia Cross’s hair on Desperate Housewives and a picture of Charlize Theron’s hair at some awards show and then she replicated it with a unique twist! She is also my regular hairstylist and is always fabulous! A+++ all around.

Your hair and makeup look gorgeous!
Hi Kandace - she charges $250 for bridal makeup and hair (optional) if you want her to do your hair and $100 per hour if you want her to stay behind to touch up your makeup and/or help style your photo shoot - she’s great!
For everyone else, she’ll charge $100 per person besides the bride (bridesmaids, moms, etc.)
Worth every penny!
I still don’t understand why the bride’s hair and makeup costs more than the rest of the wedding party. For my wedding, I asked for a bridesmaid hairstyle, and saved 50%. I felt just as special and my photos were just as nice. What gives?
