Tuxedo T-Shirts

April 18th, 2007 @ 3:24 pm by Mrs. Blueberry

I originally had a really great idea for us trotting around on the day-of, before the wedding: glittery tanks for us girls in the wedding party, and tuxedo tshirts for the guys! Wouldn’t that be cute?

Mr. Blueberry didn’t think so. He vetoed the idea before it could even gain any momentum. smiley2

I’m not giving up, though. If I can’t have guys in tuxedo t-shirts on my wedding day, I’m passing this on for someone else. Please tell me you’ll take the idea and run with it! smiley503

Romper Stomper Tees sells tuxedo tshirts in a variety of colors from $9.99 up.

you know what would be cute and different?? if you got the tuxedo shirts in small sizes for the girls (maybe they come in baby tees?) and glitterified them with a bedazzler… maybe even putting “bride” and whatever on the lapel or the back of the shirt!

I think it’s great, Miss Blueberry!

We actually had the same idea. We are still going back and forth between what we want to get the GMs, and we might toss these in there.

Tell Mr. Blueberry that other guys are doing it too, and see if he’ll give in :)

during rehearsal is a great idea… but honestly guys don’t like this type of stuff…

and on the day your wedding it’s going to be hectic enough…

i had mentioned to my hubbs that i wanted the guys to wear pink ties & he was against… he said that he didn’t want to wear this for someone elses wedding… so he wouldn’t want to make this friends wear it…

i think these tuxedo shirts are the most adorable things… but i would still respect the guys enough to not make them feel uncomfortable…

then again… there are just guys that like to goof around… i would definitely put your finacee’s opinion in mind…

Sorry, but with few exceptions, most guys aren’t either brave or dorky enough to wear this, especially on the wedding day.

I thought this is what misfit high school boys wear to prom.

The girls are likely going to want button-down shirts so they don’t mess up hair and makeup when they change.

Haha, I personally think they look lame, but I’m actually surprised so many guys would object (or that’s what it sounds like here). I think my SO would prefer wear that to his own wedding rather than wearing an actual tux. Hell, if he could, he’d just stroll into the ceremony wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. *sigh*…why won’t my guy like dressing up??

These are great! It’s all about fun and a celebration is supposed to be fun and festive! Whom ever thinks that they have to be ‘brave’ to wear one of these has got other issues LOL! Im totally going to suggest these!

Me and my Fiance are actually thinking about doing this for our wedding. We have to get married at the court house since we are getting married very soon and don’t have very much money. HE is going into the army so we need to get married asap. He is probably going to wear a tux shirt and I am possibly going to wear a wedding dress one but I am having a hard time finding one. Do you of anyone that has them

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding on Friday.
After the reception we all went out to a club and the bride changed into a short white dress and the groom wore a tuxedo shirt!
I thought it was really cute!
