I made it through. I have written my last law school exam! This is a very exciting time for me, but what I am most happy about is that I will be able to get my invitations sent out this weekend!
I took your advice and asked my invitation designer to fix the reply card situation and, to her credit, she did fix it- and fast! I didn’t even have to play the “did I mention that I am a *law* student” card as Iris had suggested!
Our designer made up new (larger) reply card envelopes and couriered them to me within two days. Since I had done quite a bit of work on the invites already (putting them all together and writing the ferry board times on each one), I only have to put stamps on each reply card, write in the number of guests invited (to hopefully ward off extra “tag-a-longs”), put each reply card in its pocketfold and seal the outer envelope. Oh, I also found some pretty “regular” stamps, so that I can put those on the reply card envelopes. Then I’ll have enough personalized stamps to put on the outsides of the invitations.

I feel much better about the whole situation and, even though they were done a little later than I wanted, the invites will still be sent out around 2 months before the wedding. And, since we sent out STDs, that should be plenty of time for our guests to properly plan and reply. Thanks for all of your support!
